Dr. Seuss can be a socialist?

Ok, so I told my 2-year-old daughter last night, "We read a book or two before going to bed," as a good mother should do, right? His face lights up and shouted: "10 Apples! 10 apples!" He referred to Dr. Seuss's 10 Apples Up on the top. Now, I usually like the Dr. Seuss books. Yes, she's one of my children's favorite books. However, 10 Apples At the top is not his best work, is a bit 'monotonous. Yes, I'm less enthusiastic when my daughter suggested thatone. But learning the words simple and so good that it is, so I cave and say, "Okay."

So we are here and reading this book, where 3 animals, a dog, a tiger and a lion competition to see how many apples can be piled on her head. "Well, I can do three, I can put three on top, you see." If something like that. And then the next beast stacks four apples, then five and so on, until eventually he had ten apples on top. This is all good. We are now learningcompetition.
